Background – Graphic Design
A little about myself; I am a 23 year old college student at Johnson & Wales studying for Graphic Design in my last year. I studied graphic design in my final year of high-school in the Vo-Tech program. I have always been enveloped by art my whole life. Starting from loving art classes, and creating art through different mediums such as clay, pen and ink, charcoal, oil/ acrylic paint, oil pastels and etc. I then moved into the graphic aspect of design when choosing my major in college. I started learning the basics of design, from logo and package designing, to many aspects of print. However, after learning those ways, I chose to also learn more indepthly about the web. I learned how to code using sublime, and then learned the basics of creating templates through hard coded html to WordPress templates. I also have created full websites through SquareSpace. I am also fully able to use Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop. I am currently enrolled in an internship under BLK MKT Creative Studios and finishing my final year at Johnson and Wales.
